**Jesus Christ prevailed over evil and death on the cross at Golgata, but the battle continues until the day of judgment.**

We are born again, out from darkness and into the light, by faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and believing that God raised Him from the dead on the third day. Through the deeds He did on the Cross at Golgata we are given salvation through faith, by the blood that he spilled after being ripped into pieces by whips designed to destroy we are cleansed and healed. Without a doubt he won the war against evil and death that day as He declared it to be finished. And by God's grace we are given part of that victory.

But the evil one still prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour and his search and his attacks will only grow stronger until the day of judgment when Jesus returns.

*“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” - Ephesians 6:12*

As it is written the spiritual battle continues and while we are sent out to the world as fishermen to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ the evil one will send his wickedness out to stop us, to fill us up with temptations, doubt, fear, lies and anger. The world will do its best to keep the truth out for the ruling darkness cant stand the light of truth that is Jesus Christ. Therefore it is up to us to not let the light inside us go dim by conforming to the patterns of this world.

The war has been won, Jesus Christ has prevailed, but the harvest is still plentiful and the workers, you and me, are few. So stand in your faith and rely on the fact that Jesus has done what He has done and that His promises are true. Draw closer to Him in all ways so that you can stand your ground, on your faith, when the wicked one shoots his arrows of temptation, doubt, fear, lies and anger.

Speak the truth with the kindness that Jesus carried, love your wife or husband and be faithful to them in the way Jesus is faithful and loves us, reach out your helping hands, as far as you are able to, to those in need; as Jesus reached out to you.

**God bless you!**
